Rong-Hui Zhang, Dim Sum Chef at The Jade

Dim Sum Head Chef Zhang started his career making dim sum in a 5-star restaurant in Guangzhou, and has never looked back. Since 1984, Chef Zhang has been creating unique dim sum dishes in his native China until moving to Vancouver in 1991.

After moving to Canada Chef Zhang continued his craft of innovative and award-winning dim sum artistry. He brings with him 25 years of experience making dim sum, and now creates some of the most innovative dim sum available in Vancouver at the Jade Restaurant.

He has been with us at the Jade since 2008.
